I serve as the Medical Director of Synergy Bariatrics and the Program Director for the Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at ECMC. As a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon, I perform laparoscopic gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy. I also perform advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures focusing on reflux, the GI tract and hernia repair.
I joined the UBMD Surgery group in 2018 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University at Buffalo.
A member of several professional societies, I have presented at many national conferences.
My areas of expertise include bariatric surgery, gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, revisional bariatric surgery, reflux, hiatal/paraesophageal hernia repair, endoscopy, general surgery and education/training.
