Endoscopy Services
Northtowns Ambulatory Surgery Center offers advanced endoscopy techniques for diagnostic screenings. An endoscopy procedure is done to examine the interior of a hollow organ or cavity of the body through the insertion of a scope to capture images or video. One of the most common endoscopies, an Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) or upper endoscopy, goes through your mouth to look at your esophagus, stomach and the upper part of your small intestine. A bronchoscopy is an endoscopy that looks specifically at your respiratory system.
