These outpatient colorectal offerings include colonoscopy procedures, in which the physician uses a flexible tube with a camera scope on one end to look inside your rectum and colon. Routine screening or diagnostic colonoscopies are used to detect irritated or swollen tissue, ulcers, colorectal cancer or polyps.
